Portal Beasts

A tear in the lab brought the beasts awake...

The idea is that a larger beast has awakened smaller ones from the lab to return through the portal with them back home. That was my take on it, however I left it largely ambiguous (I thought) so as to leave it up to interpretation and imagination.
